Ham'n Eggs

So, it's my third post in one day. No, it's not that I have a lot of extra time on my hands I've just got a little extra wind beneath my wings. A little more pep in my step....I think you get the point. Anyway, a week ago we all went fishing in Lone Pine. It was the longest fishing adventure ever, like 7 hours of fish guts and smelly boys. But, if I am being honest it was a very fun day. We found a perfect place for a picnic. There are more rocks there then any boy can climb and we got a whopping 7 fish! It is also just a beautiful place. Sorry, there are a lot of pictures it was hard to narrow it down.

The reason this post is called Ham'n Eggs is because Zachy asked Daddy if he could carry the "Hamneggs." So, here he is holding them. I didn't have the heart to tell him what they were really called.

The Rocks were Amazing! The boys were in Heaven!

Embrace it People! I had too!

Apparently, Danny (who we all know has keen fashion sense) sports a fanny-pak whilst fishing.

Just so you could see what I was doing while the boys caught trout. I took about 220 pictures...good times.

Here is the final count. The boys were SO proud. We had them for dinner the very next night. I know right? I wish you could smell the smells that go along with this last picture. And it was like a 2 hour drive home. It was So worth it! But, please don't ask me to go fishing anytime soon!

Looks like a lot of fun! I love to fish! Next time your boys get the fishing bug, call me and we'll swap houses for a few hours! =)I'd be happy to squish worms and gut fish for a day and let you change diapers and play hide and seek. =)
