Cut to the Chase

My life has been a lot about numbers lately. (And you know how good I am with the numbers.) I keep playing them over and over in my head and thought I would share a few of the significant ones.

192/101 My highest blood pressure reading to date...what took us to the hospital, the final time.

3/9 The day I realized this pregnancy was over.

37 3 The gestational age. Well, supposedly.

12 The number of hours spent on pitocin, in vain.

20 The minutes it took to go from inducing to full on surgery.

5 1 How much I hoped the baby would weigh.

3 12 The reality.

1 to 2 The number of weeks before baby can come home.

6 The amount of visits to the hospital a day.

3:00 The minutes we have to scrub our hands before touching the baby.

3 1/2 The miles between our house and the NICU.

1700 How many grams Chase is.

2000 How many grams he needs to be to go home.

1 Perfectly formed little baby.

2 Unbelievably smitten parents.

1 Sovereign God.

Thanks for praying....Here's the cuteness:

One jealous Aunt who wants to hold him so much!

I LUUUV the last picture.

Jon says, "it looks just Grandpa Chuck crying. . . it's true, 'cause he has the same haircut."

Congrats Hallie! And yes, love the last picture. =)Not only the expression but also the fact that the nose bulb is so close to his head we can get an idea of just how SMALL he is. =) Glad to hear everything ended well. Have been thinking of you and all your "trips" to the "WHIP." Just think, all those prenatal trips were just a warm up. =)Way to wear a rut in the road. =)
